HOW to take a screenshot on a Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer

On Windows 10 or Windows 11, pressing the Print Screen (PrtScn) button on your keyboard is the most straightforward method for taking a screenshot of your entire screen.
You can either save the screenshot to your screenshots folder or copy it to your clipboard. Copy and paste the screenshot into any program that lets you insert images, like Paint or Microsoft Word, to save the file.

By simultaneously pressing Print Screen and the Windows Key, screenshots can be saved automatically.
Press the Windows key + PrtScn to automatically take a screenshot in Windows 10 or Windows 11 and save it to the Screenshots folder. A screenshot of your entire screen will be saved to the folder while your screen will dim.
Quick note: Open File Explorer by pressing Windows + E and clicking Pictures in the navigation pane's left side panel to locate the Screenshots folder. In the event that you have OneDrive empowered, the screen capture will be saved there too.
Press Alt + Print Screen to only capture the current window you are working in. The screenshot will be copied to your clipboard, where it must be pasted into another application before it can be saved.
